I have been away with the family for a few weeks, no internet, no mobile phones, nothing, it has been bliss, I was scared to open dA when I got back today, my messages are nuts, I will do what I can when I can :)

The problem with waterscapes is that there are already far too many, they are sort of a "cliché" at photography. One can really be tired of looking at waterscapes, I know I am. So it's with great unbelief that I click in thumbs with waterscapes, most of them are very beautiful, they really are, but I just can't fav' any more because I've done so already and I'm a sucker for seeing new and different stuff.

At least that was what I thought... Mr. Shaw as proven me wrong with this one. Stunning photo!

First of all, the colors! Great colors, warm tones of orange and yellow along with a framing reddish brown sand just give you that nice feeling of cozy perfection on part of Mother Nature. Then the dreamy water reflections just double the powerful imagery. And to top that, beautiful converging lines on the sky and sand (along with the rock shadows) just draw your eyes to the center of the picture. Great photo!
